Al Dhara Agriculture company from the UAE and the Kenyan government signed a memorandum for cooperation aimed at long-term management of 200,000 acres of agricultural land on the Jalala Kalalu farm in Kenya. The total investment cost is estimated at approximately 800 million dollars.
The project aims at producing strategic crops, which will help strengthen local agricultural sustainability in Kenya. The project implementation will take place in several phases over the next decade after completing necessary technical studies and national infrastructure projects.
"Al Dhara Agriculture" confirmed its active role in supporting agricultural production in the country.
