The investigation revealed numerous violations that have damaged the reputation of the United Kingdom and its relations with Kenya. The report emphasizes that the actions of the servicemen were systematic and contrary to international law and bilateral agreements.
'We cannot allow foreign troops on our soil to behave like an occupying force,' stated one of the Kenyan parliament members. 'This is unacceptable and requires an immediate response.' The Kenyan government announced that it would review the terms of presence of foreign military forces on its territory.
